Eaze City Pages
After looking at googles search data, we found that “Weed delivery” was a pretty popular search in the state of California. Our site, eaze.com (cannabis delivery service) was not anywhere near the first result in search results. Our hypothesis was that if we created a stand alone page with rich content for each city we delivered in, eaze.com would be number 1 in the search result ranking for “Weed delivery”. The content would need to be dynamic on each page so that google wouldn’t flag them as repeats (which hurts your SEO score).
Google will tag your page as spam unless you have enough unique content. Historically, we manually created this unique content for each City Page. Obviously, this doesn’t scale if we need to support over 385 city pages. That’s why the new City Pages can be created/updated via a batch process with minimal input and each page’s unique content will be dynamically generated based on local menu data.
We studied and applied the best-in-class SEO strategies for city landing pages (e.g. Instacart City Pages, DoorDash City Pages, Uber Eats City Pages). For example, we now have a FAQ section using the FAQ Schema so we show up in Google’s rich search results section.
